During this course, we will explore some of the essential questions that prominent biblical figures asked in times of uncertainty. As we currently face crisis and uncertainty in our world, this course will help you recognize that questions are central to your life as a believer.
What You Will Learn...
Jesus is the Question
In our module for week one entitled “Jesus is the Question,” the lesson demonstrates that sometimes the question is more important than the answer. According to theologian Dr. Martin B. Copenhaver, the bible records that Jesus asked 307 questions, people asked him 183 questions, and he answered 3 questions.
Too Many Answers and Not Enough Questions
In our module for week two entitled “Too Many Answers and Not Enough Questions,” the lesson illustrates the necessity of asking the right questions. According to philosopher Dr. Thomas Kuhn, “the answers you get depend on the questions you ask.”
If God is With Us, Then Why Have These Things Happened
In our module for week three entitled “If God Is With Us, Then Why Have These Things Happened,” the lesson demonstrates that it is okay to question God. If we believe God is truly sovereign, then we can be assured that there is no question too difficult or too complex for God to handle.
Is That Your Own Idea? Get Your Mind Right.
In the module for week four entitled, “Is that your own idea? – Get Your Mind Right,” the lesson declares that before we question God, we must first question ourselves. Instead of immediately asking the first question that pops into our head, it is important to pause and ask ourselves where this question came from.
